CLUB TRAINING RIDES 2019 SUMMER SERIES
Three Bridges Swan River Loop Training Ride - Every Saturday
The three bridges Swan River loop training rides are held each Saturday morning. The ride is designed to provide a good cardio workout on the undulating terrain.
Starting from the car park at the Left Bank Hotel in East Fremantle at 7.20am and picking up another group on the way at No. 1 The Esplanade in Mount Pleasant at 8am (near the corner of Canning Hwy on the south side of the Canning Bridge) and finishing at the Old Mill Bakehouse on Norfolk St in Fremantle. The ride is approximately 45km long and takes around 1 hr 45 min to complete. Medium and fast pace riders start together and break into 2 groups along the way meeting up again at the cafe in Fremantle.

Hills Training Ride - Every Wednesday
Weekly hills training ride is held each Wednesday morning. The ride provides increased VO2 Max and strength through ascending climbs longer than 10 minutes duration.
Starting from the car park on the west end of Riverton Bridge at 7am, the ride follows the Canning River cycle path to Gosnells, goes up Mills Rd East climb, proceeds along the top of the rangers to Kalamunda and returns back to Riverton Bridge via Welshpool Rd and Roe Highway cycle path. The ride is approximately 70km long and takes around 2 hrs 45 min to complete. Medium and fast pace riders start together and regroup at the top of Mills Rd East climb and then again at the top of the Mundaring Weir Rd Climb in Kalamunda.
