GROUP TRAINING RIDES 2015 - 2016 SUMMER SERIES
The 3 bridges tour of the Swan River group training ride is held each Saturday morning. The ride is designed to enjoy the great scenery around the Swan River while mixing in a few short climbs to get the heart rate up.
Starting from the Left Bank Hotel in East Fremantle at 7.15am and finishing at the Carriage Cafe in Fremantle, the ride is approximately 50km long and takes around 1 hr 45 min to complete.
The ride finishes off with a social chat and coffee at Freo's iconic Carriage coffee shop. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
BIKE SKILLS PROGRAM - POSTPONED
The Melville Fremantle Cycling Club is excited about providing an opportunity for young cyclists to join our junior cycling group.
The focus is on junior development and provides a warm and nurturing environment in which developing young riders can become stronger and more proficient in the sport.
Our aim is to increase the awareness of and participation in cycling throughout the community. This includes the use of safe riding practices at all times, such as in group training rides on public roads.
Helmets are required as rides take place on public roads under adult supervision. Riders are both boys and girls and are aged between 9-17 years.
Group A all ride racing bikes and average approximately 25km/hr. They leave Fleet Cycles at 7am on Saturdays.
Group B ride both racing and mountain bikes and average approximately 18km/hr. They leave Fleet Cycles at 7am on Saturdays.
If you are interested in getting involved, or know any potential junior cyclists contact Mic at email@example.com
