The club has been invited to participate in the inaugural Fremantle Velo Bazaar on Saturday 23 March 2013. The following press release is from Dismantle, the event organisers:
"This year, in celebration of Bike Week, Dismantle Inc and City of Fremantle are hosting the inaugural Fremantle Velo Bazaar. From bike polo players to local bike stores, from social riding collectives to government cycling organisations, the bazaar will introduce you to the incredible diversity that exists within the bicycle community around Fremantle.
Taking place from 5pm-8pm on Saturday 23 March, the Fremantle Velo Bazaar will run after the regular markets at Bathers Beach but consist of its own very special array of market stalls and services from all walks of cycling culture. Take your bike in for a check-up at the bike doctor, or let someone else do the pedalling with the bicycle valet service; get your photo taken at the photo booth, or stay for dinner from one of the food stalls. At dusk, the films begin: a movie night under the stars with a distinctly cycle-focused flavour.
The Fremantle Velo Bazaar will be a family friendly day open to all types, styles and cultures of cycling. Come and discover all the wonderful things the humble bicycle can do, and connect with aspects of velo-culture you didn't even know were there."
